Is AI good at design? I put AI carousel design to the test — four tools that all claim to do design work (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Copilot) building the same carousel post, plus Claude Design, Canva, and Adobe Express to finish it.

Carousel posts are something my agency builds constantly, and they take a lot of back-and-forth. So I wanted to see if AI could speed up the process.

In this video, I start in PowerPoint with a pre-designed BY ARIES branded template, then ask each AI to design the rest of the carousel following the same brand guidelines. I compare the results slide by slide, then show you Claude Design — a capability I think is a bit of a game changer for marketers — and walk through how to export your design into Canva and Adobe Express.
